I thought I haven’t been improving lately, so I look back into my summer sketchbook to check and realized, it’s not that I haven’t been improving, I just thought my old stuff looked a lot less shittier than it actually was.
it’s sort of a nice surprise.

Numbers dressed in traditional ethnic dress (with some fantasy thrown in) inspired by a whole mishmash of Asian cultures. I attempted to make the patterns, clothing, and posture fit their personalities. From the left to right, top to bottom the numbers are in order from 1 - 9. Halfway through I wished that I had the mindset to buy a thinner pen than the 03 Prismacolor that I used, but alas, I did not. I had a lot of fun doing this (even though I won’t be patterning for a while now), and I hope you have fun looking at it. I included some close up pictures, but I might post them up separately in the future.
